Following Japan\u2019s recent removal of all COVID-related border restrictions on May 8th 2023, Tourism Seychelles embarked on a series of trade workshops in Tokyo and Osaka on June 12th and 14th, 2023. The events were dedicated to rebuilding the market and meeting old and new partners alike. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Together with Constance Ephelia and Constance Lemuria, the workshops provided the opportunity to engage with Japanese travel agents, tour operators, and other key partners through destination market updates and networking sessions that enabled the participants to learn about the latest tourism developments in Seychelles and explore potential business opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commenting on Tourism Seychelles\u2019 recent engagements in the Japanese market, the Director for Japan, Mr Jean-Luc Lai-Lam, stated, \u201cWe recognise the potential of the Japanese tourism market and are committed to building and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders to welcome more Japanese travellers to the destination and providing high-quality tourism experiences to our Japanese visitors\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
