The event marks a historic milestone\u2014the first time Africa hosts this prestigious competition\u2014right here in Seychelles, on the breathtaking shores of the Indian Ocean.<\/p>\n<p>The draw event, organised by the Local Organising Committee (LOC), also featured the international debut of the tournament\u2019s official theme song &#8220;Boom Se Se&#8221;, an energetic anthem performed by popular Seychellois artists Elijah and Taniah. Their vibrant performance highlighted the spirit and rhythm of Seychelles as the island nation gets ready to welcome the world.<\/p>\n<p>The draw not only set the path to glory for the competing nations but also spotlighted Seychelles as a world-class host destination. Representing Tourism Seychelles at the event were Principal Secretary for Tourism, Mrs. Sherin Francis, and Director General for Destination Marketing, Mrs. Bernadette Willemin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a proud and defining moment for our nation,\u201d said PS Francis. \u201cThe draw has intensified international excitement and placed Seychelles firmly in the global spotlight. We are ready to welcome fans, teams, and visitors with open arms, warm Creole hospitality, and an unforgettable experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Beyond world-class beach soccer, the tournament promises a dynamic showcase of Seychelles\u2019 rich culture, welcoming hospitality, and commitment to sustainability and environmental heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives of the Participating Member Associations arrived in Seychelles on Wednesday, 2nd April 2025, where they were greeted with a warm Creole welcome courtesy of Tourism Seychelles, including special locally inspired gifts.
