Tourism Seychelles and Discover Airlines have officially marked the launch of the airline\u2019s inaugural flight from Frankfurt to Seychelles, strengthening the archipelago\u2019s air connectivity to Europe and broadening access for international travelers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The milestone was celebrated on Monday, 27 October, with a cocktail reception at L\u2019Escale Resort Marina & Spa, attended by leaders from the tourism and aviation sectors. Discover Airlines will operate twice-weekly flights between Frankfurt and Seychelles, supporting the destination\u2019s ongoing efforts to diversify its European market presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among those in attendance were Sherin Francis, Principal Secretary for Tourism; David Bianchi, Principal Secretary for Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine; Bernadette Willemin, Director General for Destination Marketing; Paul Lebon, Director General for Product Development; Garry Albert, CEO of the Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA); Colin Chang-Tave, CEO of the Seychelles Airports Authority (SAA); Sandy Benoiton, CEO of Air Seychelles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bernd Bauer, CEO of Discover Airlines, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, reaffirming the airline\u2019s commitment to connecting travelers to the Seychelles\u2019 \u201cexceptional natural beauty and warm hospitality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Guests enjoyed a relaxed evening of Creole-inspired cuisine, cocktails, and live local music, which captured the vibrant spirit and culture of the islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
