The excitement is officially underway for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Seychelles 2025™, following the highly anticipated Official Draw held on Friday, 4th April 2025, at the International Conference Centre of Seychelles (ICCS) and streamed live on FIFA+.
Sixteen national teams from around the world discovered their group stage opponents as they were drawn into four groups, igniting global anticipation for the tournament set to unfold from May 1st to 11th, 2025. The event marks a historic milestone—the first time Africa hosts this prestigious competition—right here in Seychelles, on the breathtaking shores of the Indian Ocean.
The draw event, organised by the Local Organising Committee (LOC), also featured the international debut of the tournament’s official theme song “Boom Se Se”, an energetic anthem performed by popular Seychellois artists Elijah and Taniah. Their vibrant performance highlighted the spirit and rhythm of Seychelles as the island nation gets ready to welcome the world.
The draw not only set the path to glory for the competing nations but also spotlighted Seychelles as a world-class host destination. Representing Tourism Seychelles at the event were Principal Secretary for Tourism, Mrs. Sherin Francis, and Director General for Destination Marketing, Mrs. Bernadette Willemin.

Representatives of the Participating Member Associations arrived in Seychelles on Wednesday, 2nd April 2025, where they were greeted with a warm Creole welcome courtesy of Tourism Seychelles, including special locally inspired gifts. Creole Travel Services, the official ground handler for the tournament, is playing a key role in ensuring smooth logistics and hospitality for all delegations as preparations continue in full swing.
With powerhouses and debutants set to clash in paradise, the countdown to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Seychelles 2025™ continues—and the world is watching.
