Seychelles has once again solidified its status as a premier global travel destination, claiming three prestigious titles at the World Travel Awards 2025. At the glittering Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony, held at the Johari Rotana in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, the archipelago was honoured as:

These honours highlight Seychelles’ commitment to excellence across all facets of its tourism offering, from its exceptional marine biodiversity and luxurious romantic retreats to its rising profile as a world-class cruise destination.
They also serve as recognition of the tireless efforts of Tourism Seychelles and its partners across both the public and private sectors. Over the past year, the destination has actively participated in numerous international roadshows, trade fairs, and marketing campaigns, consistently showcasing Seychelles to the world.
The nation has also opened its doors to the world by hosting a series of exclusive familiarisation trips, press tours, and cultural showcases—inviting international travel professionals and media to immerse themselves in the Seychellois way of life. These initiatives have allowed Seychelles to demonstrate its authenticity, sustainability, and commitment to excellence in hospitality.
