In a continued effort to position Seychelles as a top travel destination in the Middle East, Tourism Seychelles has reinforced its partnership with Travel Counsellors UAE through a targeted training webinar held on June 17, 2025. The live session brought together 25 travel professionals from across the UAE, equipping them with expert knowledge and tools to confidently sell the destination to their clients.
This initiative forms part of a broader strategic collaboration between Tourism Seychelles and Travel Counsellors UAE, a key player in the region’s travel advisory landscape. With more than 90 independent travel consultants operating across the UAE and access to a combined audience of over 22,000 potential travellers, Travel Counsellors represents a valuable channel for high-quality, tailor-made travel sales.
The 60-minute session offered in-depth insights into Seychelles’ diverse offerings, including top attractions, accommodation options, and updated travel information. By delivering this type of bespoke training, Tourism Seychelles is investing in long-term trade relationships that align with its goals of attracting high-value, experience-driven visitors from the GCC market.
Ahmed Fathallah, Tourism Seychelles' Middle East representative, commented:
"Our partnership with Travel Counsellors UAE allows us to engage a network of trusted travel advisors who are well-positioned to influence consumer choices. By providing them with the tools and knowledge to promote Seychelles effectively, we’re ensuring the destination remains top of mind among UAE travellers seeking tailor-made, premium holiday experiences."
The training webinar is one of several collaborative activities planned as part of the ongoing partnership. Other initiatives include a dedicated feature on the TCTV Travel Show, a branded landing page showcasing Seychelles within the Travel Counsellors’ internal platform, and targeted digital campaigns to increase destination awareness and engagement among prospective travellers.
This partnership supports Tourism Seychelles' broader Middle East strategy to deepen ties with the travel trade, amplify brand visibility in key source markets, and drive sustainable tourism growth in the region.
