Following its high-level engagement with UN Tourism, Tourism Seychelles hosted a relationship-building engagement on the sidelines of FITUR 2026, bringing together tour operators, airline partners, destination management companies (DMCs), and hotel representatives actively involved in promoting Seychelles across key source markets.
The session was led by the Minister for Tourism and Culture, Mrs Amanda Bernstein, accompanied by the Special Advisor for Tourism, Mrs Bernadette Willemin, and Mrs Monica Gonzalez, Senior Marketing Executive for the Iberian Market, underscoring the importance of close, ongoing engagement with industry partners in the region.
“Our partners across the trade, airline and hospitality sectors are essential to how Seychelles is positioned internationally, and it is thanks to these efforts that we saw a 42% growth in arrivals from this region in 2025,” said Minister Amanda Bernstein. “This engagement provided an opportunity to strengthen these relationships, exchange views, and reaffirm our shared commitment to promoting Seychelles as a high-value destination.”
The event provided an informal platform to reinforce partnerships, exchange perspectives on market dynamics, and strengthen collaboration ahead of the year. Discussions touched on destination positioning, air connectivity, evolving consumer expectations, and opportunities to enhance joint visibility and promotion in 2026.
Mrs Bernadette Willemin, Special Advisor for Tourism, added that the event was particularly valuable in maintaining direct contact with partners and aligning messaging ahead of upcoming promotional activities.
The event reflects Tourism Seychelles’ continued commitment to building and sustaining strong partnerships across its industry network, ensuring collaboration remains central to its market engagement efforts throughout the year.
