Tourism Seychelles Strengthens South Korean Market Outreach at SITF 2026

Tourism Seychelles participated in the 41st Seoul International Tourism Fair (SITF), held from 4 to 7 June 2026 in Seoul, South Korea, as part of its ongoing efforts to increase destination awareness and attract more visitors from the market.

Representing Tourism Seychelles at the event were Mrs Amia Jovanovic-Desir, Manager responsible for the South Korean market, and Mrs Saida Mussard, Marketing Executive.
The four-day fair provided an opportunity to showcase Seychelles’ diverse tourism experiences, engage directly with consumers, and strengthen relationships with travel trade and media partners. The Seychelles stand attracted considerable interest, with many visitors discovering the destination for the first time.

“Each year we have the opportunity to introduce Seychelles to new audiences, and the response at SITF continues to demonstrate the strong potential of the South Korean market,” said Mrs Jovanovic-Desir. “There is growing interest in authentic, high-quality travel experiences, and Seychelles is well-positioned to meet these expectations.”

South Korea remains a promising market for Seychelles, particularly within the honeymoon segment. Renowned for its pristine beaches, luxury accommodation, rich biodiversity and unique island-hopping experiences, Seychelles offers an appealing alternative for travellers seeking exclusive and memorable holidays.

To further strengthen destination awareness, Tourism Seychelles continues to invest in trade education initiatives, including familiarisation trips, media and influencer collaborations, and targeted workshops for travel professionals.

Participation in SITF 2026 also enabled Tourism Seychelles to reconnect with key industry partners, establish new contacts and gain valuable insights into evolving consumer preferences and travel trends.

Tourism Seychelles remains committed to expanding its presence in South Korea through strategic partnerships and targeted marketing to drive awareness and increase visitor arrivals from this high-potential market.
